US Coastal Security Enhances Safety Measures After Trump’s Decrees

US coastal guard will deploy additional forces in a number of regions of the country’s sea borders in accordance with the decrees signed by the newly elected US President Donald Trump.

This was announced by Admiral Kevin Landei, deputy commander of the US Coast Guard.

According to Landei, he ordered immediately to increase the number of aircraft, boats and safety equipment on the coast, as well as the number of coastal personnel.

“We will identify, restrack and suppress illegal immigration, drug trafficking and other hostile activities before they reached our border,” Landey said.

It is noteworthy that in the statement, instead of the name “Mexican Gulf” is used “American Bay”.

Previously, Trump fired the first woman-commander of the US coast guard Lindu Fag.

During the ceremony of taking office of US President Donald Trump, Donald Trump promised to rename the Gulf of Mexico into the Gulf of America.
