US Congress Adopted Bill Providing For Arrest Of Illegal Migrants

The US Congress adopted a bill that provides for the arrest of illegal migrants involved in various crimes, including robberies and thefts.

A document known as the “Act of Laken Riley”, named after the American student Riley, who was killed by an illegal migrant, was accepted in the Senate, after which the US representatives took place. The bill was approved by 263 votes “For” and 156 voices “against.”

It is worth noting that 46 democrats have performed in support of the document prepared by the Republicans.

The bill adopted by the Senate two days ago, after approval by the House of Representatives, was sent to the White House. This is the first bill that the new composition of the Congress has submitted to the signature of US President Donald Trump.

Previously, Trump, during the election campaign, stated that the most important issue for him will be the security of the borders.

This bill is considered a major “legal victory” of Trump, as it provides for the detention of illegal migrants involved in various crimes, without a court decision.

It is expected that Trump, who promised to put an end to the stream of illegal migrants on the border with Mexico with the help of tough measures, will sign the bill in the shortest possible time.

In order to ensure the safety of borders with Mexico, Trump signed a new decree on sending an additional military contingent there is a number of up to 1,500 people.
