The federal judge in the United States made a decision according to which the dismissal of the head of the Federal Agency for Labor Relations (FLRA) Susan Grandmann, produced by Donald Trump, is illegal, reports The Hill.
Judge Sparkl Suknanan emphasized that the dismissal of Grandmann violates the law and she must return to the performance of her duties as president of Flra.
The judge noted that the arguments of the Trump administration in this case are threatened with the fundamental rights guaranteed by the US Constitution. “But we do not live in autocracy, we have a system of checks and counterweights,” he said.
Trump, having taken over on January 20, has since fired several senior employees of federal agencies, including the Ministry of Justice. Including, on March 7, Judge of the Federal Court Beryl Hawell decided that Trump illegally fired a member of the National Council for Labor Relations (NLRB) Gwinn Wilkox and ordered her to return to the position.
