The United States became the leader in the export of liquefied natural gas in the first half of 2022, writes Reuters with reference to sources.
Export data was published by the US Energy Information Department. Washington greatly increased export due to gas supply to Europe.
According to the Office, LNG exports from the United States grew by 12% compared to the first half of last year. Now in the average states export 11.2 billion cubic feet per day. Export helped to increase high prices for resource and demand in Europe, which sharply grew after the start of the war in Ukraine and rejection of Russian gas.
