The US Navy leadership ordered not to use the Chinese chat both with support for artificial intelligence (AI) DeepSeek due to “security and ethics reasons,” CNBC reports.
The US Navy sent its instructions to its e-mail soldiers not to use the chat boot and Deepseek.
The management warns that the chat boot and Deepseek causes “potential problems in the field of security and ethical problems associated with its origin and use” and should not be used “in any way.”
The instructions say that employees should “refrain from loading, installing or using the Chatta Bota Deepseek in any way.”
All employees of the Navy were asked to “refuse” DeepSeek “for any work tasks or personal use.”
The representative of the US Navy confirmed the accuracy of the instruction and said that it is related to the policy of AI in the Navy.
Meanwhile, the order was received after last week the Chinese company Deepseek introduced its new model with Outdoor source “Deepseek-R1” at the international level.
