US President Joe Biden called the statements of the ex-head of the White House Donald Trump “irresponsible” regarding the “illegality” of the Verdict in the case of “money for silence”, according to which the court found him guilty.
“to call the decision to be referred only because you do not like it – irresponsibly, dangerous and reckless,” said the head of the White House, commenting on Trump’s statements, who called the verdict of judges “falsified and illegal.”
The foundations of the American legal system are strong and should be respected, Biden emphasized.
The President believes that Trump is trying to score political glasses through the legal system, but he was judged “fairly” as everyone else.
recalling that the decision under consideration will be appealed by Trump, Biden emphasized that the former president equally took advantage of all his legal rights in this regard.
On Thursday, the jury in New York found the ex-president of the United States Donald Trump guilty of the so-called “Money for the Silence” paid by the actress for adults of Stormy Daniel.
The trial in the case of the ex-head of the White House lasted six weeks. The jury included seven men and five women who found Trump guilty of all 34 accusations.
Thus, Donald Trump was the first US President in the history of the USA, whom the jury found guilty of committing a crime.
The ex -president himself called the court decision shame, and the process was falsified. “People know what is happening here. I am a completely innocent person. I am fighting for our country, for our constitution,” the politician said.
Trump believes that the United States has turned into hell, and the trial is initiated by its political opponents. “Our country has big problems, this is a fraudulent decision, this judge should never have been allowed to prescribe in this process,” the ex -head of the White House added.
Judge Juan Merchan will be issued to Trump, the sentence will be announced on July 11.
The case of “money for silence”
In January 2018, The Wall Street Journal published an article that stated that in 2006 Trump supposedly was in relations with actress Stormi Daniels, and shortly before the 2016 presidential elections, she paid her 130 thousand dollars for silence. Trump himself assured that he had no personal relations with Daniels.
The office of the District Prosecutor Manhattan on March 18, 2023 made charges against the former president.
, on charges of “money for silence,” Trump appeared before the judge in New York on April 4, 2023. The ex-president called the accusations against him by “political witch hunting” and stated that he was considering accusations as “interference in the elections.”
Trump went down in history as “the first former president in the history of the United States, who appeared before the judge of the accusations against him.”
