US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken during a telephone conversation with Israel Prime Minister Naphtili Bennete, promised firm support to Israel.
“Today I talked with the [Bennett] about the dissolution of the Knesset, emphasizing our respect for democratic processes, our unshakable commitment to the strong American -Israeli strategic relations and our mutual concern in the influence of Iran in the region,” Cursor quotes Blinken.
According to the representative of the State Department of Ned Price, Blinken “emphasized that he is looking forward to continuing our close coordination on regional and global issues,” and that US President Joe Biden is looking forward to Israel next month.
