Commenting the debate between US President Donald Trump and President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, he placed a publication on social networks in which he noted:

“Europeans shrug their hands after President Trump’s attempt to give a lecture to President Zelensky. Go ahead and protect Ukraine from (Russian President Vladimir) Putin. It is time to show Europeans that they are able to protect their continent.”

Affirming that European countries allowed its armies to weaken, Graham added: “When Europe says, no bad guy listens.”

Graham claimed that Europeans are the last people to whom he could entrust the defense of freedom.
