Intercontinental ballistic missile (MBR) without a combat part was launched from California for test purposes, the US Air Force Global Blows reported.
Minitman-3 rocket (Minuteman III) started from the Vandenberg space forces base, its head part flew about 6,800 kilometers above the Pacific Ocean to the ATOLLEL COURSHALEIN as part of the Marshalli Islands, the Command statement said.
Minuteman III missiles have been in service for several decades. The US Air Force plan to replace them with a new ICBR called Sentinel.
