US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken intends to warn Israel from continuing Chinese investments in the infrastructure of the PRC and high-tech industry. The Jerusalem Post reports, Blinken is expected to do this at a meeting with Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid. The meeting will be held on Wednesday in Washington.
“We will be frank with our Israeli friends regarding risks for our common interests of national security associated with close cooperation with China,” said the representative of the State Department, the words of which leads Mignews.
The US State Department also noted: “The United States considers China as a competitor who challenges the existing international order based on the rules.”
