US Presidential Administration Joe Biden is preparing to allocate military assistance to Ukraine by another $ 800 million, Reuters reports with reference to the data of three sources.
According to the agency, the new package can be announced on Friday, but it is possible that public information about it will appear next week.
The White House refused to comment on Reuters data.
The message notes that Biden will approve the next military assistance package within the so -called Presidential Drawdown Authority, that is, the schemes according to which he can quickly allocate funds without the consent of the congress.
In May, the American Congress approved an unprecedented package of assistance to Ukraine totaling about $ 40 billion. Including lawmakers provided that the US president may use the Presidential Drawdown Authority in the amount of $ 11 billion.
