The Chamber of Representatives of the US Congress endorsed the allocation of $ 300 million to support the Ukrainian army, transfers “Details”.
According to information, the Chamber of Representatives of the US Congress approved the draft defense budget for the financial 2022, with the help of the Army of Ukraine and the statement in support of Taiwan against the background of his conflict with China. The bill was adopted with 363 votes against 70.
The document provides for the allocation of $ 300 million to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine, $ 4 billion to the European defense initiative and another $ 150 million to cooperate with the Baltic countries in the field of security policy.
Despite the strong support in the Congress, proposals were excluded from the package on the introduction of sanctions against the German-Russian gas pipeline “Northern Stream – 2” and military service for women.
