USA launches largest export plant LNG

The American company for liquefied natural gas (LNG) Freeport LNG plans to restart its export plant in Texas in mid -December, which was closed six months after the fire. This was reported by the press service of the company.

Freeport LNG – the second largest export plant of American LNG – closed in June after an explosion and fire, which, according to experts, became the result of a human error, inadequate operating procedures and other factors.

The press service indicates that the Freeport LNG completed the reconstruction work after the fire, necessary for the start of operation, including the use of all three liquefaction lines, two tanks for storing LNG and one pier. All work should be completed by the end of November.
