Uzbek-Chinese Textile Forum was held in Tashkent

In Tashkent, the 8th International Exhibition “Textile and Fashion Industry – Uztextile Expo Spring 2024” continues, Uza reports.

as part of the exhibition, an Uzbek-Chinese textile forum was organized.

The officials who took part in it, representatives of the business circles of the two countries spoke about the work carried out in Uzbekistan and China in the textile industry, achievements and new opportunities.

As noted, the participation in the exhibition of this year 250 companies and brands from Uzbekistan, Belarus, India, China, Russia, Tajikistan and Turkey indicates that the prestige of this event is growing every year.

In turn, the number of local manufacturers participating in this exhibition is also increasing. So, this year, 60 Uzbek manufacturers were its participants – from cotton and textile clusters to small businesses, which represent their latest developments and high -quality products of the textile and sewing industry.

The textile forum has become an important platform for mutual cooperation of businessmen of the two countries.

on the forum of the acting Mirmukhsin Sultonov, Chairman of the Association “Uztukimachililiksanoat”, spoke of cooperation established with China in the field of textile industry, projects launched together with investors from the Middle Kingdom.

“The goal of today’s forum is to further strengthen cooperation, strengthen trade ties with Chinese manufacturers of the textile industry, as well as the organization of meetings of representatives of business circles of the two countries in B2B format,” he said.
