Uzbekistan Airways Airlines has changed flight routes to Europe since January 20, excluding flights over the territory of Russia.
About this on Tuesday, on January 28, the chairman of the board of the company Shukhrat Khudaikulov reported at a briefing, the Uzbek state media reports.
The decision was made on the basis of the report of the European Fairy Security Agency (EASA), which “designated flights over the European part of Russia as unsafe”, follows from the message.
new routes run south-through Azerbaijan and Turkey. According to Khudaikulov, the change in routes lengthens flights for 30-40 minutes and increases the airline’s expenses, but the tariffs for passengers were not increased due to force majeure in nature.
The official noted that Uzbekistan Airways is constant for airspace safety monitoring.
As the head of the airline noted, the flight management center analyzes the data in real time. If the route is recognized as unsafe, a decision is immediately made to change it.
Khudaykulov emphasized that all flights of the company are executed in compliance with maximum safety measures.
Uns shear are currently considered Ukraine, the European part of Russia and some mountainous regions of Asia due to weather conditions.
In addition, alternative or reserve paths have been developed for all routes to ensure the safety of passengers.
