According to the legislation of Uzbekistan, the early voting begins for ten days and ends three days before the elections.
five presidential candidates participate in the elections, in particular the current president of Shavkat Mirzieev, who heads the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan. The elections also participate candidates from the People’s Democratic Party, Democratic Party, “Milly Tiklanis” (“National Revival”), the Social Democratic Party “Adolat” (“Justice”) and the ecological party.
Behind the progress of elections will be followed by more than 50 international observers from more than 50 countries and organizations, including the OSCE, OIS, Turkic Council and the CIS.
