Uzbekistan And Germany Signed Declaration Of Cooperation

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev in the historical city of Samarkanda met with German Chancellor Olaf Sholtsa.

According to the Chancellery of the President of Uzbekistan, Mirziyoyev, along with Sholts, who arrived in Uzbekistan on an official visit, visited the historical Square of Registan in Samarkand and took a joint photograph.

Then, in the Congress Center of Samarkand, the official ceremony of the meeting of Sholtsa took place.

After the ceremony, Mirziyoyev and Sholts held bilateral and delegate meetings.

During the meeting, Mirziyoyev noted the historical significance of the Scholyts visit and said: “We consider this visit as a sign of your special interest in the further development of multifaceted Uzbek-German relations and the support of irreversible reforms carried out in New Uzbekistan.”

Mirziyoyev and Scholts instructed ministries of foreign affairs and further developing Uzbek-German relations and hold regular consultations on international and regional issues, including the situation in Afghanistan.

Leaders agreed to develop a “road map” for the training of Uzbek specialists in Germany in demanded areas, as well as the preparation of a joint “road map” for the implementation of agreements signed in negotiations.

The German side expressed its willingness to support in expanding programs for learning languages ​​and training teachers in the regions of Uzbekistan.

At the end of negotiations, Mirziyoyev and Sholts signed a joint declaration of cooperation between the parties.

Also signed by cooperation in the field of migration, veterinary medicine and livestock, climate change, sustainable use of water resources, the most important types of mineral raw materials and transport, as well as the program of technological partnership and industrial cooperation for 2024-2026.
