The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Jordan signed a memorandum of understanding.
According to Uzdaily, the delegation of Uzbekistan, led by Foreign Minister Bakhtiyar Saidov, is on a visit to Aman, the capital of Jordan from 1 to February 3.
During the visit, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan Dilshod Rasulov met with the First Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce Jordan Jamal al-Rimifai.
The meeting discussed issues of expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between business circles of the two countries, organizing business visits and joint events, as well as prospects for increasing industrial cooperation and implementing new investment projects.
Following the negotiations, a memorandum of mutual understanding between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Jordan was signed.
This step opens up new opportunities for entrepreneurs of both countries and will be an important step in the development of mutually beneficial trade and economic partnerships.
Jordan has powerful industrial potential, including pharmaceutical and chemical industries, textile production, as well as the production of fertilizers and building materials. The country is also famous for its reserves of phosphates and potassium, the export of which plays a key role in the economy. In addition to this, the processing and food industries are actively developing.
