Uzbekistan And Kazakhstan Completed Joint Military Exercises “Hamorlik-2024”

In the Jizak region of Uzbekistan, the joint military exercises of Hamorlik-2024 ended, in which the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan took part.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Kazakhstan, the headquarters of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Kazakhstan, Lieutenant General Sultan Kamaletdinov and Uzbekistan, Major General Shukhrarat Khalmukhamedov, observed the actual phase of the Teaching Forces.

“We have achieved all the goals set. Such exercises are important not only to increase the level of combat readiness, but also to strengthen the mutual understanding between military personnel of military units of the two countries,” said the senior Kazakhstan contingent, Colonel Yerzhan Meirmanov.

The department noted that at the first stage of the exercise, a small armed group along mountain paths illegally crossed the state border and took positions in the houses of local residents. The actions of the militants were aimed at distracting attention and creating conditions for the development of success in other directions.

“According to the scenario of the second stage, the conditional opponent concentrated large detachments near the state borders of Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan, preparing them for the invasion. The military units of the two countries worked out the response algorithms for the suppression of sabotage actions and the prevention of large -scale attack on important strategic objects”, – says in the message.
