The Business Forum of Uzbekistan-Singapore was held in Tashkent, the press service of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan reports.
The main theme of the forum was an increase in awareness with competitive advantages and drivers of national economies, as well as establishing new partnerships.
The positive dynamics of foreign trade between Singapore and Uzbekistan have been noted, the volume of which has grown several times since the beginning of the year.
Cooperation in the field of investment interaction and industrial cooperation is growing. The number of joint ventures with Singapore capital over the past seven years has increased by 3.5 times.
A layer of tasks implemented in Uzbekistan as part of improving the investment climate is voiced. Administrative reform was carried out, the process of joining the WTO was activated, amendments to the Constitution aimed at developing free civil society, strengthening human capital, ensuring freedom of entrepreneurship, observing the rights of investors, ensuring the inviolability of private property.
