The delegation of Tajikistan visited Uzbekistan as part of the Asian forum of women, held on May 13-14 in Samarkand.
Muinzoda noted that the visit of the delegation of the Tajikistan parliament to Uzbekistan is fruitfully.
She highly appreciated effective reforms implemented in Uzbekistan in recent years under the leadership of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to increase the socio-political activity of women, expand their participation in public administration, and granting equal rights and opportunities.
“The forum, organized at a high level in Samarkand, gathered leading women not only of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, but all the countries of Asia have become an important platform for the exchange of best practices to increase the role of women in society,” said Muini.
The head of the Tajik delegation expressed confidence that the meetings of bilateral cooperation held with representatives of the Uzbek Parliament as part of the forum will take the inter -parliamentary relations of the two countries to a new level.
Nuriddin Ismoilov emphasized that thanks to the mutual trust and strong political will of the leaders of the two countries, the relations of the two fraternal countries received a powerful impulse.
