In Uzbekistan, the first Cup of OTG was held – 2025, in which skiers from the member countries of the organization of Turkic states (OTG).
The organizers of the OTG Cup – 2025 were founded by the founders of the Union of Turkic ski centers: Uzbek Amirsa, Azerbaijani Shahdag, Kazakhstani Chimbulak and Turkish ski resort Uludag.
The opening of the tournament was attended by the Secretary General of the OTG Kubankbek Omuraliev, Deputy Secretary General of the Ministry of Council of Azimov, Advisor to the Minister of Ecology, Environmental Protection and Climate Climate Alishir Salomov, General Secretary of the Union of Turkic Centers, Orhan Badalov, Representatives of the Maternity Senses of Turkey, representatives Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and athletes from these countries.
In the tournament held at the Amirsa ski resort near Tashkent, more than 50 athletes took part. According to the results of the tournament, which was first organized this year, the winners received special awards.
The initiative to hold the OTG Cup for skiing was approved by the heads of the participating state at the Summit of the Organization in Bishkek last year.
