In Uzbekistan, the first international festival of artistic creation of the peoples of Eurasia “For Peace and Friendship”, which started on November 6 in Tashkent, is completing its work.
According to the press service of the CIS Executive Committee, the festival participants were creative, folklore and ethnographic groups, children’s and family groups, choreographic ensembles, individual performers, artisans, masters of visual and decorative arts and other creative associations.
In general, the forum gathered on its site 200 executors of more than 10 states.
The festival was organized by the universal confederation of trade unions, the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, national professional centers and international industry associations of trade unions – membership organizations of the Universal Confederation of Trade Unions.
The purpose of the festival is to introduce its participants and guests with achievements in the field of artistic creation, to give an impetus to the popularization of knowledge on the history of the development of culture of the peoples of Eurasia, to help strengthen friendship and cooperation between the peoples.
