At the point of joint of state borders of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan today a meeting of the delegations of three countries, headed by the Prime Ministers. This was announced in his Telegram channel by the press secretary of the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, Bekzod Hidoyatov.
“The parties noted that this meeting is held as part of the previously reached agreements between the heads of state of the three countries – the President of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, President of Kyrgyzstan, Sadirov Zhaparov and President of Tajikistan Emomali Rakhmon on the issues of strengthening cooperation and regional integration,” – He wrote.
The meeting took place at the joint point in the Ferghana region of Uzbekistan, the Batken region of Kyrgyzstan and the Sogdian region of Tajikistan.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that countries have great potential to strengthen interaction in key areas as trade, logistics, water-energy and cultural and humanitarian ties, and the development of border and interregional cooperation will become an engine of interaction between three countries. << /p>
The parties noted the completion of the process of the state border between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, as well as the exchange of ratification letters for the agreement “On the Kyrgyz-Uzbek state border”.
Government heads discussed issues related to the organization of future tripartite events.
