In total, Mirziyoyev pardoned 541 prisoners who repented of a crime. Of these, 374 people were completely released from the main punishment, 110 – they announced UDO, 18 – replaced the punishment with a milder, 39 – reduced the sentences.
Among pardoned 36 foreigners, 136 women, 75 men over 60 years old, as well as 6 people who were in forbidden organizations.
According to the document, the departments were instructed to return the pardoned home and help them in social adaptation, finding work and finding their place in societies.
