Transcarpathian region of Ukraine for the second time received humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan. This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.
The humanitarian cargo was over 19 thousand tons of medicines for $ 1 million. Uzbekistan sent antibiotics and vitamins – only 12 positions in the amount of more than 200 thousand, the head of the region Viktor Nikita said, Fergananews reports.
Help first arrived in the humanitarian hub located in Slovakia, from there it was sent in Transcarpathia. Medicines will immediately be sent to military doctors in areas where hostilities are going on, and in hospitals.
The first after the start of the military invasion of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan Transcarpathia received in early April. There were more than 34 tons of cargo in containers: medicines, individual first -aid kits, food food foods and more.
