Venezuela President: Country’s Economy Is Growing Contrary To Sanctions

Venezuela’s economy continues to grow contrary to the union “unjust” sanctions introduced against the country.

This was stated by the President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro at a meeting with citizens in the village of Zamora, Miranda.

The head of state assured that soon the authorities will announce new measures aimed at even more strengthening the economy.

“The government will be with the people in all corners of the country. Productive projects will be supported to eliminate damage caused to imperialists. The country’s resources will be used for the needs of the people,” the president assured.

Maduro said that a national referendum will be held in the country on August 25 and revolutionary projects will be submitted to the Venezuelans.

“I invite everyone to take part in the referendum on August 25. I especially ask youth to go to the polling stations and vote for projects that will support the development of Venezuela,” he said.
