The Supreme Court of Azerbaijan considered the cassation appeal against the former chairman of Azərxalça OJSC Vidadi Muradov, who died under house arrest. It is reported by Qafqazinfo.
It is noted that the trial of the judge Aziz Seidov, under the trial, was canceled the decision in terms of the property of the bank in connection with the criminal case. The case was sent to the appeal court for re -consideration.
Recall, V. Muradov was arrested during an operation conducted by the Corruption Office under the Prosecutor General. He was charged with the following articles of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan: 179.4 (assignment or embezzlement committed with causing particularly large damage), 213.3 (tax evasion on an especially large scale), 308.2 (abuse of official powers that entailed serious consequences), 313 ( service forgery). In connection with the deterioration of the state of health, Muradov changed a preventive measure and the conditions for treatment were created.
