Director of the NIC on the prevention and treatment of viral infections, the virologist’s virologist Georgy Viculov made a quick introduction of a new locked in Russia in connection with the COVID-19 pandemic. He reported this in an interview with URA.Ru.
According to Vikulov, the doctors are actually “in the military”, they have to work in the conditions of “enormous viral load.” It is this virologist that considers the main reason for the possible introduction of new restrictions. “If the measures taken do not give the result by the middle of the month and the positive dynamics will not begin, there will be tightening,” said Vikulov.
He also added that the Russian government worked all possible scenarios in case of deterioration of the situation with the spread of a new coronavirus infection.
