Vladimir Putin Arrived In Mongolia On An Official Visit

On September 2, Russian President Vladimir Putin arrived in Mongolia with a two -day official visit. The aircraft of the Russian president landed at Ulan-Bator Airport.

Putin’s visit to Mongolia will last two days.

According to the visit program, on September 3, the President of the Russian Federation will meet with the President of Mongolia Ukhnaiin Huralsukh, and also sign a number of documents and will lay flowers to the monument to George Zhukov.

Putin’s visit is timed to the 85th anniversary of the joint victory of the Soviet and Mongol troops over the Japanese armed forces in Khalkhin-Gol in 1939.

The last time Putin was in Mongolia exactly five years ago.

In Ulan-Bator, the heads of state will discuss bilateral relations and current international and regional issues, sign bilateral documents. Putin also plans to meet with the speaker of the Great State Khural (one-toal parliament) by Dashzegviyn Amarbashalan and Prime Minister Luvsanname-Erdne.
