Vladimir Putin held meeting with Security Council of Russian Federation

Russian President Vladimir Putin held the first operational meeting with the Security Council of the Russian Federation after permutations.

The head of state at the meeting proposed to discuss relations between the Russian Federation with the countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and noted that this topic will continue to be paid more attention.

“Now we will talk about a topic that is always a priority for us in the outside – this is a building of relations with our closest neighbors, with independent states formed in the post -Soviet space,” the president said.

The meeting, which was held in the format of video communications, was attended by Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, chairmen of both chambers of parliament Valentina Matvienko and Vyacheslav Volodin, deputy head of the Security Council Dmitry Medvedev, head of the presidential administration Anton Vaino, and. O. Minister of the Interior Vladimir Kolokoltsev, and. O. Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov, Secretary Secretary Sergei Shoigu, FSB Director Alexander Bortnikov, head of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin and Nikolai Patrushev.
