The Armed Forces of Ukraine (Armed Forces) began counterattacks.
This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
However, he did not say what stage they are at.
“Counter -to -defense and defense actions of the corresponding ones take place in Ukraine, at what stage – I will not speak in detail,” Zelensky said at a press conference with Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau in Kiev.
The Ukrainian leader noted that everyone will feel the actions of the counterattack.
Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “the APU began a counterattack, but they did not achieve the tasks.”
According to him, Kyiv still has the offensive potential. Attempts by counterattack among Ukrainian fighters were unsuccessful.
Putin noted that the beginning of the active actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine means the decision of the command to throw on the advanced strategic reserves.
