Vladimir Zelensky: Ukraine Will Never Agree To Join NATO Without Occupied Territories

Ukraine will never agree to join NATO without occupied territories.

About this on December 1, at a press conference in Kyiv, after a meeting with the newly elected chairman of the European Council Antoniu, the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated.

He said that Kyiv before negotiations with the Russian Federation needs security guarantees and more weapons.

“There can be no invitation to NATO part of the territory of Ukraine. This is an automatic confession that all other territories are not Ukrainian. If this is an invitation, then only all the territories are completely,” he stressed.

Zelensky added that he understands the inability to use the fifth article of the North Atlantic Alliance during the conflict in Ukraine. According to him, NATO countries are opposed to the risks of attracting them to the conflict.

According to Zelensky, Ukraine will never go to this: “We will never legally recognize the temporarily occupied territories by Russian. This is exclusively our lands.”
