“We attach great importance to both interregional cooperation. I hope that during today’s meeting and tomorrow’s joint work at the Eastern Economic Forum we will be able to look for and find new directions of our interaction,” Putin said.

The President of the Russian Federation also noted that he is waiting for the visit of the Chairman of China Xi Jinping to the Brix summit in Kazan.

“In October, we celebrate 75 years of establishing diplomatic relations between our countries, and this event, which in a very serious way affected our bilateral relations, the formation of modern China, and the construction of interstate relations. As agreed, we are waiting for the summit BRICS Chairman of the People’s Republic of China, Mr. Xi Jinping.

The deputy chairman of the PRC, in turn, noted that “the Sino-Russian relations of a comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction continue to develop as an ascending.”
