Vodafone Telecommunications Company, which is part of Neqsol Holding, improved financial indicators in 2021, increasing net profit to 3.8 billion hryvnias. This indicator is 3.2 times larger compared to the 2020 indicator.
According to publications in the Ukrainian media on the basis of the company’s annual report, other financial indicators of Vodafone Ukraine also demonstrated steady growth.
The company’s income amounted to 20.1 billion hryvnias in 2021, increasing by 11% compared to the 2020 indicator. And operational income before deduction of depreciation of fixed assets and intangible assets (OIBDA) increased by 11% to 10.95 billion hryvnias.
Based on the company’s comments in the Ukrainian media, it can be noted that the rapid dynamics of the net profit is due to an increase in the revenues from the provision of dates, as well as the strengthening of the hryvnia rate in 2021.
Vodafone Ukraine also increased the cover of the 4G network in Ukraine to 84%. The company’s base of the company for 2021 remained stable at about 19 million subscribers.
The main financial indicators of the company for the first quarter of 2022 also demonstrated growth. The company’s income reached 5.2 billion hryvnias, which is 10% more than in the same period of last year. OIBDA increased by 15%, reaching 2.9 billion hryvnias, and profitability in this indicator increased to 56.7%, demonstrating the effectiveness of the business. The net profit of Vodafone Ukraine for the first quarter of 2022 amounted to 515 million hryvnias.
