Volodin: Macron’s Attempt To “keep Power By Any Means” Failed

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin announced the futility of attempts by France President Emmanuel Macron to “keep power by any means.”

“The attempt to hold power by any means Macron failed. The current president of France brought the once prosperous country to a state of deep political and economic crisis. The times of de Gaulle and Mitteran remained far in the past,” Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.

He noted that “for the first time since 1962, the French government, formed by Macron, received a votum of mistrust and is obliged to resign”, having existed “only 91 days” and establishing the “anti -record in the history of France.”

“France has lost not only its subjectivity in the development of a pan -European position, but also independence in decision -making. allowing Biden to draw itself into a war in Ukraine, and then trying to become a leader in its support among the European Union states, Macron finally lost the trust of its own population”, – said the politician.

According to Volodin, “the time of Macron, Biden and the like should go into the past.”

On the eve of the deputies of the National Assembly of France by a majority vote supported the vote of no confidence in the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier, which was in power for three months. In support of the votum of the distrust of the French government, 331 deputy out of 577 voted. Thus, 288 votes necessary for the adoption of a vote of distrust of the government were received.
