Volodin: Plan Of Washington And Brussels To Isolate Russian Federation “failed”

The BRICS summit, passing in Kazan, the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan, showed that “the plan of Washington and Brussels has failed to isolate Russia.” The chairman of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vyacheslav Volodin made this point of view.

“In Kazan, to participate in the BRICS summit, 36 countries. 22 delegations are presented at the highest level. Russia has become a place of attraction. The wide representation speaks of the influence of BRICS on the world stage. These days, responsible ones are accepted during the work of the summit and on its fields Solutions, ”Volodin wrote in his Telegram channel.

He recalled that the share of BRICS in the global GDP in purchasing power parity will be 36.7%by the results of the year, which confidently exceeds the share of G7.

“And this gap will only grow,” said the politician.

According to Volodin, “a high level of recognition of the role of BRICS in the world confirms participation in the Summit in Kazan, the UN Secretary General, which assists the central role in maintaining peace and security.”
