Today, the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs summoned Israeli Ambassador Alexander Ben Zvi and demanded explanations about the attack by the Israeli Damascus Air Force, which was June 10, writes the Ninth Canal.
Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Mikhail Bogdanov made it clear that the explanations provided so far did not satisfy the Kremlin and said that Russia would not allow Syria to turn into the “battlefield” of other countries.
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that Bogdanov expressed “deep concern” in connection with the attack, which, according to the Russians, led to damage to the runway, navigation equipment and the buildings of the airport. All this caused damage to the air movement.
“The transfer of the UN humanitarian aid to millions of Syrians was also disrupted,” the department noted.
