Tüi̇k note the growth of foreign trade volume of the specified category of products, as well as an increase in the ratio of export to import.
If 2019, the volume of external trading of the decorations, including Christmas garlands, amounted to 5 million 569 thousand 347 dollars, then in 2020, when a new type of coronavirus infection was announced around the world, this indicator was reduced to to 5 million 225 thousand 948 dollars. Last year, this indicator amounted to 12 million 445 thousand 336 dollars.
Most of the foreign trade in this category of products is carried out in the last two months of the year.
Export of jewelry for Christmas Christmas trees from Turkey in 2019 amounted to 558 thousand 570 dollars, and for the 10 -month period of the current year – 2 million 441 thousand $ 694.
The import of the same products to Turkey in 2019 amounted to 5 million 10 thousand 777 dollars, and in January-October 2023- 7 million 749 thousand $ 149.
The ratio of exports to imports of the specified products increased significantly, amounting to 11.1 percent in 2019, 9 percent in 2020, in 2021 – 20.9 percent, and in January -October of the current year – 31.5 percent.
