Finland provided Ukraine for almost 600 million euros and will continue deliveries.
This was announced to reporters by the Minister of Defense of Finland Mikko Tapio Savola on Tuesday upon arrival at the meeting of the heads of NATO defense departments in Brussels.
“It is important to help Ukraine, and most efficiently. We have already provided 12 packets of assistance. And the sum of these packages is almost equal to 600 million euros,” the minister said.
“We will continue to provide assistance. We need to help continue. We are preparing our 13th package,” the head of the Ministry of Defense added.
Earlier, Savola said that Finland would take part in the supply of tanks to Ukraine, but clarified that the contribution of the republic will be small.
He also emphasized that the country is ready to participate both in the supply of weapons and in the training of Ukrainian soldiers to manage tanks and their maintenance.
