The new one is the 10th package of sanctions against Russia, which the European Union intends to introduce until February 24, implies trade restrictions in the amount of 11 billion euros.
This was stated by the head of the European Commission Ursula von der Lyain, speaking at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, the broadcast of which is conducted by the services of EC.
“We have adopted nine packages of sanctions. We need to continue the pressure, and we offer the 10th package of sanctions with trade prohibitions for 11 billion euros,” she said.
Earlier, the head of the EC called the amount of 10 billion euros.
