Sales of residential units in Turkey in March decreased by 21.4 percent compared to the same month of last year – up to 105,476. Such data are given by the Institute of Statistics of Turkey (Tüi̇k).
compared with January, the sale of housing in Turkey last month increased by 10.5 percent.
In January-March of this year, compared to the same period last year, it decreased by 11.5 percent to 283,215 units.
In March, Istanbul – 18 166 was the leader in March. The share of the metropolis accounted for 17.2 percent of the total sales of housing in Turkey last month.
The following is followed by Ankara – 12,023 units of housing (11.4 percent of all sales in Turkey) and Antalya – 6,120 housing units (5.8 percent of sales in Turkey).
The least housing last month was sold in the province of Ardakhan (23 units of housing), the province of Khakkari (54) and the province of Bayburt (69).
