Volunteers Cleared Territory Of Khalid Bin Valid Mosque In Syrian Homs

A group of volunteers cleared the territory around the Khalid Bin Valid mosque in the city of Homs in Syria, damaged as a result of the attacks of the overthrown 61-fly BAAS mode.

The mosque and tomb of Khalida Bin Valida is located in the Khalidi area and is one of the characters of Khoms.

Guests from abroad and other cities of Syria come to the tomb of one of the most important commanders in Islamic history, the associate of the Prophet Muhammad to raise prayers.

Mosque maintenance and repair, some of which received serious damage as a result of shelling of the forces of the Assad and its supporters, are carried out by Syrian volunteers.

Activists began cleaning the streets and the Avenues of the city, and also cleared the territory around the shrine.

We voluntarily work in order for Homs to return to the old way

One of the volunteers of Mukhannet Ebaibu told Anadol that cleaning is carried out throughout the city. “Since this is the most important mosque in the region, we attach great importance to its purity. We want to preserve and clear the historical symbols of the city. We continue to work to show people that life is returning to the normal direction,” he said.
