Ukrainian Yana Shermuk, who found a shelter along with her family and adoptive children in Turkey, has hopes for the future world in Antalya.
41-year-old resident of Krivoy Rog, thanks to her activities in the field of civil society, has always sought to form the best conditions for children, as well as support persons with disabilities.
Ukrainian, the mother of three children also became a foster mother for seven orphans, five of whom appeared in the family shortly before the conflict with Russia. The woman continued to carry out her activities contrary to all the hardships of the war.

Shermuk contacted the charitable foundation of Ruslan Shostak, which implements the “Childhood without War” project and is engaged in the evacuation of children from the conflict zone.
The woman and her children were brought to Turkey three weeks ago thanks to the efforts of the first Lady Emine Erdogan, the wife of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, and Elena Zelenskaya, wife of the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
The family was placed in one of the hotels in the Manavgat area in the province of Antalya, where she felt safe.

According to the Ukrainian, she did not see her husband since the beginning of the war and did everything possible to save her children from the area of the ongoing conflict.
Shemruk noted that the youngest of the children is 6 years old, and the oldest is 20 years old. “One of my adoptive children is prostheted by a leg due to an accident that happened, and the other needs special care due to psychological problems. Fixed families and orphanages in Ukraine are a warm shelter for children. When I became a foster parent, I I did not know that the war would begin. Everything coincided so. I just wanted to create a warm house for them, ”says Ukrainian.
