Relations of Russia and Serbia are experiencing a difficult period due to Russian invasion of Ukraine, said Serbia President Alexander Vuchich in an interview with the American publication Bloomberg.
In communication with journalists, the Serbian leader noted that the official Belgrade does not support Moscow in her war against Ukraine. According to Vuchich, in the past years he talked many times with Vladimir Putin and even took Russian language lessons to speak with him without a translator. But now the situation has changed, and the leaders of the two countries have not said “many months.”
“We said from the very beginning that they could not support Russia’s invasion of Ukraine. For us, Crimea is Ukraine, Donbass is Ukraine. It will remain,” said Vucich.
