Serbia has no obligations to Russia, but will not impose sanctions until its life interests are at risk, said Serbia President Aleksandar Vucich in an interview with RTS.
“We have no obligations to Russia. Russia imposed sanctions in 1992, armed Croatia, helped Montenegro independence. I have its moral obligations while we can withstand until our life or existential interests are at risk (we will not put it in sanctions against Russia), ”said Vuchich.
The leader of Serbia noted that everyone was waiting for the imposition of sanctions against the Russian Federation immediately after the elections that were on April 3, but this did not happen.
After the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, Vuchich in circulation to the nation, following the meeting of the Security Council, said that Serbia supports the territorial integrity of Ukraine, but would not introduce anti -Russian sanctions.
