Former executive director of the government support for the State Media Development Development of Vugar Safarli, sentenced by the Baku Court in grave crimes by 10 years 6 months of imprisonment, filed an appeal. He asks for an exclusive sentence and removal of arrest from his property.
According to haqqin.az, the complaint sent to the Baku Court of Appeal. Nadir Mammadov, convicted on the same charges and sentenced to 6 years in prison, also filed an appeal against the sentence.
Recall Vugar Safarli was sentenced to 10 years and 6 months imprisonment. The accused in this case, Nadir Mammadov received 6 years in prison. The verdict noted that Vugar Safarli confiscated homes, located in the Khatai district of the capital and the country’s Ismayilli region. In addition, the court confiscated land Nadir Mammadov, a multi-storey residential building Adalat Valiyev on Prospect Metbuat and other real estate.
