In the zone between the Estonian Peninsula Kasmu and the Finnish city of Porvoo, a couple of tens of kilometers from the Estonian coast, there was a line from ships awaiting the passage to Russian ports, writes ERR with reference to Postimees.
About 20 ships are visible in the photographs. According to the publication, the courts began to anchor near the Estonian coast since 2019, when Russia established the order by which, after entering the territorial waters of Russia, the ship should proceed to the port without stopping. The number of vessels standing on the Gulf of Finland grew after the start of the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Estonian officials believe that the courts are not prohibited from standing in this zone if specific violations are not recorded in relation to them.
