In Azerbaijan, a shortage of high -quality cigarettes suddenly arose. However, the concept of high -quality is very relative. For many years, smokers with experience have been complaining about the quality of cigarettes in Azerbaijan worsening from year to year.
Part of wealthy people has long passed the use of imported products, purchasing a large number of cigarettes at Dutifry in various airports in the world. Another part of the smokers either switched to electronic cigarettes and gaining more and more popular tobacco GLO tobacco, or was content with relatively expensive toothous local -made cigarettes.
However, unexpectedly, in the last few weeks, interruptions in the supply of the most popular stamps of cigarettes began to be observed in Baku retail chains. In a matter of days, cigarettes Kent, Winston, Sobranie disappeared from the shelves. The cigarette brands are by no means cheap, and represent the upper price range. Despite the high cost, their popularity is due to the fact that cigarettes cheaper is not completely impossible to smoke.
The disappearance of popular stamps of cigarettes did not happen overnight, acquiring a kind of wave -like character. If the favorite pack of cigarettes could not be found in one store, there was a high probability of finding them in the neighboring one. But not the fact that at the usual price. So prices for Sobranie brand cigarettes in different parts of the city could vary within 4-5 manat.
Attempts by haqqin.az to find out the reasons for the disappearance of cigarettes brought to the largest manufacturer of tobacco products in Azerbaijan – CJSC Tabaterra. Representatives of retail chains unanimously assure that cigarette deficiency is caused with problems in the supply chain.
In an interview with Haqqin.az correspondent, one of the Tabaterra employees admitted that the deficiency of cigarettes was caused by deliveries. It turned out that most popular Tabaterra cigarettes were based on a license. And raw materials for such cigarettes were imported from factories in Ukraine. After the start of a full -scale war in this country, the supply of raw materials ceased.
Tabaterra tried to change the logistics of supplies by replacing the raw materials from Ukraine with other countries, including Turkey. But the process of changing the supplier to raw materials for some brands of cigarettes, dragged on, which caused a deficit.
