German Chancellor Olaf Sholts considers the Russian war against Ukraine an unprecedented event, reports Deutsche Welle.
“Russia’s aggression against Ukraine is the greatest catastrophe of our time,” said Sholts at the event of the übersee club in Hamburg.
According to Chancellor, Russia’s aggressive war of extermination marks a radical gap with a European peaceful order established after the end of the Cold War.
Scholz noted that in Russia they went to the “intentional exit from the world community”, which seemed almost impossible in the 21st century.
